Raccoons
Raccoons are often classed pests due to their nature in raiding garbage bins, attics, gardens, and crops for food. They can carry rabies and transmit it by bites. We offer a humane raccoon removal service where we use a one-way door trap or to use the live trap method (used during trapping season). Any raccoons caught are released back into the wild.
Skunks
Skunks are actually timid, non-confrontational and unobtrusive. They tend to inhabit porches, decks, sheds, etc – anywhere they can find shelter and warmth. However, they can carry rabits and transmit it by bites. At Pestcheck, we have skunk traps that humanely capture them during trapping season. All skunks caught are released in a far-away location.
Squirrels
Squirrels may be cute but they can cause major damage to properties. Infestations in the attic can create fire hazards as they often make their nests by tearing up insulation and gnawing through electrical wiring. Nests contain dry material and when combined with exposed wiring, it can lead to a fire. We catch and release them in a far-away location.

Brought up in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, I have lived in many countries with my wife and kids over
the years. However, immigrating to Canada with my family in 2009 was the best decision I made.
My career in pest control started back in the early 2000’s working for myself in Spain and then for
Poulin’s Pest Control here in Vancouver. I started Pestcheck Pest Control along side my wife, Julie in
2018. My family gave me the incentive to work hard and make this company successful.
When Julie and I are not working we love to travel, especially to Mexico. I also like to cook delicious food
